Affiliated Colleges of Lucknow University Extend Admission Date for Undergraduate Courses | Lucknow News

LUCKNOW: After the University of Lucknow extended the last date for admission to its undergraduate courses to August 12, the majority of LU-affiliated colleges in the city have extended the UG application date by the first week or the middle of August, while a few colleges have announced their Rendez-vous entrance test.
Avadh girls University diploma (AGDC) extended the last date until August 7.

“The last date for applying to UG courses at AGDC is August 7. Admission to UG courses will be on the basis of merit, therefore, the first merit list will be declared in August, the second week itself. Our priority is to conclude the admission within the month of August itself,” AGDC Director Prof. Bina Rai said. “The UG application deadline has been extended until to August 5. The merit list will be declared on August 6 and the student admission process will start from August 8,” said Ramesh Dhar Dwivedidirector, Bappa Sri Narain College of PG Vocational College.
PG Shia College extended the application date to August 15. Applications can be made online at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Shia PG spokesperson Pradeep Sharma said.
“The deadline for registration for UG courses at Shri Jai Narain PG College has been extended to August 5. The college will terminate admission by the end of the month so that the academic session does not derail,” said director Meeta Shah. PG National College which has already received around 10,000 applications for 1,850 places. The dates will no longer be extended.
“We are likely to hold entrance tests for admission to various UG courses on August 4, 8 and 10. Our admission windows will close on August 2,” said NPGC Director Devendra Kumar Singh.
Meanwhile, the final application date for Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Girls’ Degree College ended on Saturday, and the college is preparing to hold an entrance test in the first week of August.
“The entrance test for admission to various UG courses will be held on August 6 and 7,” Netaji principal Anuradha Tiwari said.
