CUET exam starts August 4 for undergraduate courses – Reuters


The second round of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to undergraduate courses in arts and sciences at central universities is scheduled for August 4, 5 and 6.

The NDA (National Survey Agency) has given an additional special opportunity to students who cannot participate in this survey for various reasons.

The central government has introduced the CUET entrance examination for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in arts and sciences at central universities. The first CUET exam for undergraduate studies was held July 15-20 at 247 centers in 160 cities across the country.

Following this, the second phase of the CUET exam for undergraduate courses is scheduled to be held on August 4, 5, and 6. The National Examinations Agency (NDA) on Tuesday released the exam hall admission card for those who are going to take this exam.

The NDA has announced that students who are unable to take the CUET exam from August 4th due to natural disasters such as floods and taking other entrance exams, will be offered a special opportunity to take the exam on other dates.

“Some students have requested to postpone the CUET exam for undergraduate courses because they will take entrance exams like MHD-SET, PIT-SAT, NADA, etc. Similarly, requests have come from some students affected by natural disasters such as floods. The CUET exam will be held on August 12, 13 and 14 only for these students,’ the NDA said in the notification.

CUET Scholarship for Masters Courses:

It has been revealed that the CUET Scholarship for Masters in Arts and Sciences will start on September 1. In this regard, UGC Chairman Jagdish Kumar said in a series of posts on his Twitter page on Tuesday:

The NDA has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the CUET examination for the academic year 2022-23 in the postgraduate arts and sciences courses offered at 66 central universities and educational institutes affiliated with the process of CUED exam.

Around 3.57 lakh candidates will take part in this computerized entrance exam held at survey centers in 500 cities in India and 13 cities abroad.

He mentioned that the CUET exam for postgraduate courses will be held from September 1 to September 11.
