The University of Jammu was established in 1969 with the help of the law of the state legislature which divided Jammu and Kashmir into two separate universities of Jammu and Kashmir respectively.

Initially, the university had 7 campuses under it, and the number remains the same. It has also received ISO-9001 certification. The main campus of the University of Jammu is located at Baba Saheb Ambedkar Road in Jammu.

The university offers various programs of which the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs are a part. Apart from this, an honorary degree is offered to people of exceptional caliber.

The courses offered by the University are as follows:

  • Master in Physics
  • Masters in History, etc.

The undergraduate exams for Semesters I, II, III, IV, V and VI were held from May to June by the University of Jammu.

The result of the same has now been announced on the official website of the University of Jammu: www.jammuuniversity.in.

Candidates who have taken one of the exams mentioned above can check their result on the official website link given above. The examination took place in paper-and-pencil mode.

Students who pass the exam will receive a college scoring sheet showing the final exam result. While others can also get a copy of their scoring sheet online from the official website.

The steps to verify the results can be given as follows:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website: jammuuniversity.in
  • 2nd step: On the home page, a link will appear indicating the “results”.
  • Step 3: Click on the link to be redirected to a new page 4
  • Step 4: Click on the exam you took
  • Step 5: Log in using the role number and name.
  • Step 6: The result will be displayed on the screen
  • Step 7: Download it to the computer and print it preferably for further reference.

Students who took the exam and obtained low marks may request a reassessment of the exam. Higher authorities will re-check the results and then announce the re-evaluated results.

However, if there are students who have lower grades, they can take the exam next time. For this, students must take the additional exams.

It should also be noted that students can only request a reassessment after the publication of the results of the main exam.
