The Chick-fil-A location in St. Clairsville will celebrate its second anniversary on site today. And the restaurant is celebrating with a big gift to its employees.
The restaurant announced Friday that it will partner with Point University, a school in West Point, Georgia, to pay for tuition at Point for all of its team members. It will also reimburse each team member up to $600 per year for books and supplies.
“We try to live our vision of serving the Valley every day,” said Stacy Austin, local restaurant operator of Chick-fil-A St. Clairsville. “This partnership allows us to care for our team members in a meaningful and unique way as we strive to be the best place to work in the Valley.”
Tuition is made possible through Chick-fil-A St. Clairsville’s partnership with Point University. The university was founded in 1937 and is fully accredited, offering more than 30 certificates, undergraduate and graduate degrees.
“Point University has a long history of relationships with Chick-fil-A, including alumni who work in the support center and are operators,” said Dean Collins, president of Point University. “We are thrilled to offer this partnership, which allows members of the Chick-fil-A team to continue their education tuition-free.”
“The Point University team has been amazing to work with,” added Austin. “They worked to make the process for our team frictionless.
“Each step is mapped out and there is excellent communication between our teams. We are excited to invest in our team members, empowering them to pursue their dreams and goals.
