LA CROSSE (WKBT) – Viterbo will launch a new undergraduate program in 2023.
The new program — Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and Sciences — will prepare students for graduate school and careers in speech-language pathology and audiology, the university said.
“This new major will help Viterbo address an important need on the ground and in the community,” said faculty member Patti Johnstone, PhD. “It will provide students with the knowledge and experience they need to succeed in graduate school and subsequently in a rewarding and in-demand career.”
The major includes clinical and research components as well as therapy simulations and internship opportunities. The major begins in the fall of 2023. More information on the program here.
